The team went on to compete at AKSARBEN in Grand Island, NE, where the team once again brought home the Reserve Champion Overall.

Later at the Tulsa State Fair, Grund placed 6th Overall and 2nd in Swine, helping the team bring home the Reserve Champion Overall for the 3rd time.

In November the team headed to the American Royal where they once again were named Reserve Champions with Grund being named High Individual Overall, 2nd in Sheep/Goats and 9th in Swine.

Two weeks later, the livestock team finished their amazing season by being named Reserve National Champions in Louisville, Kentucky! Grund placed 6th in Performance Swine, 2nd in Beef, 3rd in Beef Reasons, 4th in Performance Beef, and 8th in Total Reasons.

Most recently, Grund was awarded the title of “All-American” to honor his judging career. The All-American award is based on the individual’s judging excellence, academic skill, community service and industry leadership.
